October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ideas inside

The Save Lids to Save Lives campaign has been very successful and I encourage you to purchase Yoplait with the pink lids.

Save the lids, mail them in and help raise money. Now at work you could get a box to have everyone you work with save their Yoplait lids. At the end of the month then you will send them in to Yoplait. This is the 12th year Yoplait has done this, and now they have increased their donation. For every pink lid you send by December 31, 2010 Yoplait® will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, now up to $1.6 million. And they guarantee a donation of at least $500,000. For more details go HERE---> http://www.yoplait.com/slsl/ to find out where to mail in your lids.

Breast Cancer Item…from Ellen!

I love how Ellen DeGeneres really supports breast cancer research. She devotes the month of October to helping to find a cure. She once again has created some great items in her online store that you can purchase and a portion goes to breast cancer research (Susan G Komen). She has a pink hoodie that is $50 and says ‘laugh dance cure’ on it. Buy it for yourself here----> http://www.ellenshop.com/cat/The-Ellen-DeGeneres-Show-LAUGHDANCECURE-Pink-Hoodie.html

From Pampered Chef!

It is breast cancer awareness month and we are highlighting an item every day that will help benefit breast cancer research. Purchase this item and a portion of the proceeds benefit this cause. And Pampered Chef has several items that will help! They are going all out to ‘whip cancer’. From cute pink and white plates and mugs, to kitchen utensils. And many of the items are really inexpensive. Here is the best part…$1 from each item sold will be donated to the American Cancer Society. You can order from here----> www.pamperedchef.com
A highlight is the adorable pink and white polka dot mugs. $20 for a set of 2-16 ounce mugs. These mugs are dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe.

Aveda is launching a specially packaged Pink Ribbon Hand-Relief cream for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The tube becomes partly ribboned in pink and reminds you in English and French across the raspberry-colored strip, “Have you had your annual breast exam?” or if you prefer to say it in French, “Avez-vous subi votre examen des seins annuel?“ U.S. $4 from each sale go to the Breast Cancer Research foundation.
